A Scent to Carry
Pawmoir began with a simple thought: pets experience the world through scent.
For animals, scent is more than a smell. It is a way to recognise, explore, and connect. It tells them who has been there, where they belong, and what is waiting beyond the familiar walls of home.
Your pet’s fur carries a small part of that world.
For indoor pets, shy pets, or pets who spend most of their days at home, this little locket lets their presence travel gently into the outside world. To the street. To the park. To a café. To the everyday places they may not always go.

Every Pawmoir locket is assembled by hand in our Sydney studio. We use full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, a soft suede microfibre lining, and secure metal hardware — materials chosen for everyday carry and quiet longevity.
It is not made to be loud.
It is made to feel close.
Your pet's fur is placed gently into the suede-lined pocket and held behind a secure snap closure. The result is a keepsake designed for daily rituals, careful handling, and lasting memory.

More than fur
Pawmoir is more than a few strands of fur.
For many companion animals, scent is one of the main ways to recognise individuals, explore new spaces, and read social information. Dogs, for example, have over 220 million olfactory receptors, making scent a key part of how they experience the world.
Fur can carry part of this scent identity. When kept inside a Pawmoir locket, it becomes a small scent portrait of your pet, a real trace of their presence, not only a visual keepsake.
Olfactory stimulation has been used in shelter dog studies to reduce stress-related behaviours such as excessive movement and vocalisation. Pawmoir allows their scent to travel gently beyond home, creating small moments of curiosity and connection with the outside world.
